Edit
There are a few of us on the bulletin board that have used or are using what's called a ptosis crutch - a gismo on glasses the pushes the eyelids up and keeps them open enough to function reasonably well. It's not just a ptosis thing, it can help for spasm closed eyes as well, assuming that the eyes are just closed, not solidly jammed with muscle spasm all the time.

These things cost well under $100 to have fitted to a pair of glasses, and that's something worth trying before going to the more extreme lengths of surgery. Click on the photo albums link at the top of the bulletin board page, go to the photo album and look at non-surgical aids for some shots of a ptosis crutch. Ask here if you want more info.

And I do agree with others that have said persist with the Botox - many of us have had to go a long time to get the shots right.

Cheers

Peter
