Hello Betty,I get injections about every three months. Probably should get them about every other month but as you stated, it can get expensive. I pay 20% about $275 with my insurance and have to travel 200 miles to get them so I make it stretch as long as I can.
And no you are not alone. I felt the same way at first because I have never heard of it as most people and the doctor didn't mention this board. We are like distant family here. We agree on some things and disagree on other stuff. But repect what each has to say and are here to help.
I hope you find relief that you can live with because there is no cure, YET! but I'm sure something will come in the future.
