Hi Betty,Remember, ALL doctors start you out with a low dosage and work their way up the ladder to a level that works for you. They do this to not cause or minimize the ptosis (droopy eye lids) that you can not get to stay up until the botox wears off.
Having your second round so soon will help. Always ask the doctor how many unit he gave so you know. Botox takes between 4 and 10 days to start to work, and peaks at about week 5. But this all depends on many factors, the person, dosage, the injection sites, and I feel, even the batch of botox. (Could even have other factors Too). It has taken about 9 sets of injections and two years to get to a place that I am pretty good. Still have more experimenting to do though.
Hope it didn't hurt as bad and you can always ask for emlu cream. But there will be some injections that you feel. Just remember it only hurts a little and can help a lot. It sounds like you at least have a good doctor from what I have read.
Good luck,
Norm
