Edit
I received Botox for two years and cried every time, banged on the wall at different times and even yelled SOB! Not at my dr. just the shots. He said I'm sorry, I'm sorry. He is very kind to me. Sooo, I asked if I could try the Emla cream. He gave me a prescription and I put it on before I leave the house. It numbed my eye area pretty good. Of course, the pamplet says not to get near eyes. What drug co. wants to be responsible and get sued without the precautionary labeling. That's what I think. I was very, very careful putting it on and he is equally as careful removing the Emla. I find the shots tolerable and we are both happy.

The left side of my face is extremely sensitive since I had a benign brain tumor removed, acoustic neuroma. It's been 6-1/2 yrs. and I developed the BEB problem about 8 mos. later. The neurotologist, neurologist and AN site have no answer why I developed this. I have been in some kind of remission. I had my last botox in Oct. and my eyes are still open. Have absolutely no answer. I see my neurologist in June. Botox made me sick every time. I felt like I had the flu and started feeling better when the shots started wearing off then needed more shots because of spasming. Wish I had an answer. Just thankful everyday at this point.

Jean
