myobloc is botox a. You must have not received it because it burns and you would remember it. AS far as the emla cream some doctors as noted on this web site does not like it. my doctor said it did not matter with the cream but again that is his opinion.personally I don't think it matters but I have not had this several years so I guess I don't know what I am talking about. Yes it burns my face and eyes but I'm not screaming sob when he injects me so it is well worth it to me.I also use a washrag after I go to the restroom and wash my face. if other people want to be in pain thats their choice.personally thats what drugs are for to help people but again that is a personal choice. I met a lady the other day who had some form of dystonia but she takes nothing and does not use botox. she just suffers but what could I do? Its up to her. first doctor I went to was a neuologist and she was awful she would not use the cream finally the last time she did. She used myobloc and the wrong size needle. I hurt real bad and I wanted to call her a sob!you needed a stick to bite on and some whiskey! Basically if the doctor does not cater to my needs I would look for another doctor. There are to many good doctors to put up with some uncompassionte **&****! I have only had this 4 years and for a while I could not drive and had to give up my job. I have been driving some since my dad was in a real bad car accident and is a quadrapeligic. I try not to be selfish about this because he has it ten times worse than I do. How would you feel if you had to depend on people for everything? It is something to think about. I felt like it had ruined my life also until this with my dad. That has left me devestated that I can't always be there for him because of beb. He lives about 20 miles from me so it is a good little drive.Sometimes I just can't do it and it makes me sad as i think why for me and for him.
