Hi, yes I was one of the unlucky ones they say that 23% of those who have BLEP 1st are likley to have Dystonia in other areas and I was one. But Thank you I am doing much better. I kept a journal from the start on my illness and doctors- advise and results. The 17th doctor was the one I am with today. I took photos from the start so I could see what was going on with my face.( Not a pretty site) I am so much better now. I have learned so much, hard lessons but I had to learn. You are not a wimp this is just like Hell and I know what I am talking about. Don't let Blep get you. You have Blep but it doesn't have you. Use this site for your advantage, but always consult with your Doctors. The more you know the better questions you can ask. Don't be afraid to write things down so you remeber what to ask and what the Dr. said. Take someone with you.(esp. when you ae having shots) This is the time to call on your friends and family explain to them what Blep is and the treaments you are getting and meds. Take care my friend, Carol
