Motrin, Advil - generic name ibuprofen - is a non steroid anti inflammatory drug and as you say read the insert. People on hi blood pressure pills could find it does not interact well, could also raise blood pressure. My friend who has hi blood pressure found that out as she became extremely dizzy after taken Advil or Motrin for pain. I took it for arthritis for a short while but changed to Tylenol as I was concerned with the side effects. Dentists always give it out when you leave or advise you to take it for pain at least my previous dentist did. Interesting that you found it helped your eyes. Can also affect bleeding time . While some of these OCDs (over the counter drugs) appear quite harmless - they can also be toxic and have serious side effects. Aspirin can be very toxic to some people as well. Hope it works for you on a short term basis as you say while your driving. Good luck Betty
