Edit
Those of us who are on any form of Warfarin (e.g. Coumadin, etc.) need to avoid Aspirin and Ibuprofin; all of them are blood thinners and excessive use may cause long-term bleeding. For us, Acetominophen (Tylenol, etc.) must be used instead, for pain. I don't know if there is a Motrin-like product based on Tylenol.

For example, I had a number of precancerous skin cells removed last week, at 11:00 AM. Eight hours later I was still oozing blood from the incisions, even though they had all been cauterized, so went to the emergency room. Another two hours and I was patched up, but still oozing blood from one or two of the bandages. The blood thinners had almost completely shut down my clotting mechanism. I stopped the medication then for a week, and things returned to normal. Had I taken yet another blood thinner for the excision pain, I might very well have bled out.

Ain't old age exciting?
