Tom,
Thanks for all the information. Working with electricity and electronics in my work I feel that you have something to really think about here. Mainly because in my high school school I have nothing but fluorescent lighting except my stage lighting (which can be up to 1000w each). And in different parts of the building my eyes spasms more that in other parts. (and it has nothing to do with the way the younger generation is dressing these days) *LOL*To answer your question, I can look directly at a fluorescent light and not bother me, but having it come from the side seems to be a problem, but htis is with most light. I don't consider myself photosensitive. I can have the same spasms in a dark room with my eyes closed as I do in a room full of light and vice-versa, I might not have any problems with either. And putting a hat on doesn't help but at times makes it easier when I'm working outside. But I have noticed the very early morning sun is making harder to drive.
I have even gone so far as to take notice of my wireless microphones in the theater to see if the certain frequencies cause any thing and wonder if cell phone frequencies could cause a reaction.
One of these days something will make it all clear nad we will slap our head and say "why did we think of that earlier.
Have a good day,
Norm
