Blepharospasm Bulletin Board

I went to my first conference last year. I too am "painfully shy" and I don't regret it at all.. You feel so comfortable with others who understand what you are going through. I was surprised to see so many people who looked great. I also was comforted to see others struggle because that's where I was at. Shirley is right, there is NOT much down time at all. If you decide to go, we'll definitley "take you under our wings" -- the bulletin board buddies --

Also, if you're having trouble getting around an airport...that's the best place to get help. Just note it on your reservation and they will have an escort help you. I know, because I went to Florida and had to be lead around the airport. I told them I could walk, just couldn't see well. When we dropped my bags off at the airport, we told them I needed help and they called someone right away...

This year will be even more exciting to me because the BB folks are going to try and get together so we can put faces to names on the board.

I admit, my husband came with me last year but I truly think I'd be willing to go alone. There were many who came alone...And as far as the shy thing...you were willing to share your pictures on the BB and we all thank you for that...
