Jane, that's marvellous news! So glad you've at last had some success.
Yes, those jabs close to the lash line do hurt, but are worth it. As for eyes not shutting fully, make sure they don't dry out, especially at night. Think I've suggested previously using an eye mask or wide headband? As for the other side effects, they shouldn't last long. I'm offline at present - laptop has 'died', so am using library computer.
