Edit
Thanks, June!

Having just lost a long email reply, let me see if I can shorten it somewhat!

It's true that a great many, maybe most, patients may go through a number of sessions before the doctor finds what works for them.

Some people are fortunate in having the dosage and injection sites identified quickly. That was the case for me.

Very important for the future, also, for the doctor to have identified the dosage and sites: if the disease starts behaving a little differently down the road, as it may do, there's been a kind of working baseline and the doctor can have a much easier time in deciding what to 'tweak'.

Seems to me that, at least sometimes, Dr. Farias IS claiming a cure,
or a long-term fix (are there studies showing whether or not the improvements from the retraining are permanent?):

"Other treatment methods take a long time to see some improvement and are psychologically counterproductive because they reinforce the undesired movements and feed anxiety. They only deal with the symptoms and don't address the root cause."
If I read "deal with the symptoms and don't address the root cause," that makes
me think something is being fixed. That's it's a cure.
Maybe different things are said at different times? Please, whoever can, fill in the missing links a little.

Thanks,
Judith K
