Edit
Hi Peter,

Yes—no one should automatically assume that it's going to be a great big struggle to get it right.
I guess it's the word "struggle" that I'd toss out.
To me, even a time or two of trial and error isn't a 'struggle'!

I wonder: who has made a point of asking a new injecting doctor how many patients, within the past few years, that doctor has been or currently is treating; and THEN asking—just for blepharospasm (if that's what you're interested in, for example; or for Meige, if that's what you want to know about)—what dose do most people end up with? I.e., What do most patients end up with in contrast with what they started with?

I expect some doctors might say "Everyone is different"—. Sure, we know that. They could still give an approximation. And I think a reply to this might give useful detail.

Even asking "do you tend to start lower than you think the patient will likely end up needing?" could be very useful (then you are essentially being told you MIGHT have to wait).
But of course you might get substantial relief the very first time, and that's a big deal! And then over the next time or two, you might draw nearer to the absolute right dose.

So, not to particularly say it's a "struggle"—but that SOMETIMES you hit it right, and sometimes you have to tweak.
Similar kind of thing as with anti-depressants, for instance. Doesn't anyone know someone who has tried the first one prescribed, and it's love at first sight? And others who know people who've gone through several different meds, giving each of them anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months to kick in without bothersome side-effects, before finding what's suitable?
Or the same thing with other dosages—like for blood pressure medication?
