Just to be a data point for you Judith: I have seen two neurologists who administer botox, and both said they would start with a low dose at first, to see how I tolerated it, and then adjust up as needed. For me, that is a comforting idea. Not that I wouldn't love to be spasm free the first time, but I'm nervous about getting a toxin injected into my face and eyelids, so starting slow sounds good to me.
