Edit
Hi,

If it's comforting to you to start with a low dose, that might or might not
be the best thing to do in terms of trying for optimum control the first time—that is, before the visit to your parents.
Thought you said you wanted to be spasm-free for that visit if you could,
and that's why you were considering beginning before August.

If, after all, it doesn't matter so much to you whether or not you're spasm-free, then what's there to worry about?
If you get injected with a low dose and it's not enough, that's ok with you because you're nervous about being injected with a toxin.
If you wait and go to Dr. F. first, that's also ok.

I'm a little dizzied by the array of pros and cons, but it sounds as if you can't lose!
Whatever you choose to do, there are reasons for it being a good decision.
Especially since you don't suffer with spasms for hours every day—and that's a blessing.

I wouldn't worry on account of its being a toxin. If something else were developed that zapped what needs to be zapped, and it were not made from a toxin, I think those same doctors still wouldn't want too much injected.
