I "second" what Marcia said. I had been injected by three different doctors, and it was very frustrating because I'd have good and bad days, with side effects. The forth doctor used much less Botox (thus less side effects), with much better results. I still go to him, every 7 weeks. I don't wait for the old Botox to wear off before getting the new, which tends to be around the 8th week.
Regarding Klonopin - it will be prescribed in a certain dosage. Ask your doctor if it is ok for you to take the smallest dose possible to get relief from spasms without the side effects (i.e. drowsiness).
