When my first symptoms of BEB/Meige came, I also had breathing and sinus problems I'd never had before. I've been to an allergist, who confirmed I have neglible allergies, and and ear/nose/throat specialist who said the septum(? not sure that's the right term) or something was bent or partially blocking the right nasal passage, and that could be creating my nasal/sinus problems, which did and do seem to be mostly on the left side. But it wasn't bad enough for surgery, which was all he could propose, so he really had no suggestions.I take Claritin Sinus, the 12 hour one, in the morning every day year round. It doesn't make much difference, but it does seem slightly worse if I don't take it. The stuffiness seems to come and go, worse some days than others, and especially bad when the temperature is jumping back and forth from cold to warm. I'd used Nasonex in pre-BEB/Meige days for about a month to get rid of a problem of my nose running non-stop, but that spray doesn't help now. Occasionally I get some relief from one of those sprays you're only supposed to use short term, but I never use it more than a day or t wo at a time.
