| FL41 TINT For Sunglasses |  | ||

When I have read on the bulletin board about the FL41 rose tinted sunglasses I thought (and maybe mistakenly) that sunglasses could be sent to have this tint applied to regular sunglasses. I thought I read the cost was approx. 25 - 35 dollars. I live in Canada ... I contacted (by e-mail) the Moran Eye Inst. and was told the following. I could purchase a pair of sunglasses - send them to Moran - they would remove the lenses and have to make new lenses (not just coat them with the FL41 tint) but the lenses would have to be made by them. (By the way....I would not need any prescription in the lenses....just plain old sunglasses). This would cost in total approximately $115.00 plus taxes... which would include mailing them back to Canada. This seemed rather high to me ....so I thought I would just ask if anyone else has had this tint put on their existing sunglasses (I seem to remember reading that people have) or am I just wrong about the whole thing. I do realize that their is a cost to send things from the U.S.A. to Canada. What I was shocked about....was the price. And....maybe I am wrong about that too....but I still wanted to check it out on this board. Thanks...Donna R. |
