Hi - Could people please tell me how you get ointment out of your eyes in the morning? It's very helpful for dry eye but the blurred vision in the daytime is a big problem. I am using as little as possible so reducing the amount is not an option. I have tried saline, drops, eyewash, etc. Thanks for your help.

Hi Kathryn, I use the OcuSoft Eyelid Cleanser. I wipe the cloth a couple of times along the closed eyelid and it works perfectly. I have never felt the need to wash the eye itself.

You can also use a bit of Baby Shampoo in lukeward water, but it will burn a little bit if you get some in your eye.

You can find OcuSoft in the eye product section of your drugstore, grocery or Walmart.

Hope it helps.

Hi Kathryn: I use Tears Naturale PM and it's almost like Vaseline consistency.

What helps me is to wet a clean face cloth under running hot water and wring it out and apply over closed eyes. I do this several times and then by the time I've had my bath or shower, used eye wash and applied day time drops, it's good.

Then again, this works for me dependent on what I'm using. Actually it's the warm cloth over the eyes that initially gets things moving.

Take care. Marion
