Thank you all for your responses. Sue - Prednisone is a major anti-inflammatory, but can't be taken indefinitely because of the side effects. Personally, I've never had any negative side effects, but I've taken low doses and not for long periods of time. For whatever reason, it helps my BEB tremendously. P.S. - I had also tried to adjust my Synthroid dosage when I first got eye spasms, but it unfortunately made no difference. What you wrote was really interesting and insightful. Thank you.
