Blepharospasm Bulletin Board

I have had botox for 15 years. The injection site pain usually lasts about 2 days. I started noticing my eyes hurt, all the time, not just after injections.

It turns out my eyelids were not closing all the way, causing great pain and dryness. Botox may have caused this. I went to the eye doctor a few times. What I had to do was put drops in as much as I could, and use genteal gel at night. I also had to wear a patch or sleep mask.

I waited a few weeks longer for botox, and my eyes started to close. The pain has finally subsided.

Maybe none of this pertains to you, but I gave it a shot.
