Jack, our next issue of the Newsletter asked one of our doctors about Ingrezza and Austedo, both treatments for tardive dyskenesia. He stated "These new medications have not been tested in patients with blepharospasm or Meige, where a cause is unknown... These drugs should only be taken under the care of someone experienced with the use of these drugs. If you try either of these, we'd like to hear from you , whether they worked or not. This information will help us to advise other patients with blepharospasm or Meige who may want to try them in the future."For the name of a doctor, contact State Coordinator Joanne Matuzas at 858-395-4609. She will also try to help you with any other questions you may have.
